On May 7, 2024, La Notte delle Idee 2024 | Climate Challenges. It’s Time to Change was held at Palazzo Farnese in Rome (home of the French Embassy).

An evening of debates, round tables, screenings, and installations — the event was organized by the Institut Français in Rome.

For the occasion, the project “Un Suono in Estinzione” set up the installation “Ablazione Sonora” in the underground spaces of the building. The work engaged in a luminous dialogue with the Roman mosaic flooring depicting sea monsters, offering the public a unique experience in which mountain and sea merged to communicate the impact of climate change on our ecosystem.

The initiative was met with great appreciation, drawing in over a thousand visitors within just a few hours, all captivated by the unprecedented experience.
